For Bhavan’s International Residential Public School, Bhimavaram success is always a journey and never a destination. Even as we muse over our academic achievements we plan for fresh ventures. The medium of instruction is English. The syllabi and course are strictly by NCERT and Best of the publishers in school books. So far we have presented 27 batches of students for X std. examination and 25 batches for XII std. examination. By the Bounteous grace of Almighty, dedication of our teachers and above all hard work of our students, our results have been meritorious all throughout. Last year 2010-11 out of 70 students 68 passed with distinction & two in first class. 26 children got A1 Grade and 12 students got GCP 10 out of 10 score.
Here students are given ample practice and enough self-confidence to appear the public examination. Our school has been able to parry with the challenges of facilitating and furthering the youngster’s earnest desire to learn and prepare themselves for competitive examinations. This obviously entails a multi-dimensional approach on the part of our Vidyashram.
Regular NCERT, CBSE syllabus is further enriched by inclusion of additional topics from State Board or ICSE. IIT foundation course starts from class VI along with higher orders thinking skill(HOTS) questions being practiced.
For IIT JEEE/AIEEE/EAMCET exam preparations special faculty has been appointed. The faculty works as a team to give intensive coaching in Maths, Physics, Chemistry & Biology to students of +2 level. Shri K. Bhupathi Raju and Shri V.S.N. Raju are senior members of the faculty and together they guide the programme of coaching. No special fee is being charged.
Students are expressed to periodic national Level Olympiads and exams in Maths, English, Science and also in Social Science(GK) and Environment(Essay & GK). Under Newspaper in Education(NIE) programme with ‘The Hindu’ (daily, a copy of which is received by every student from VI onward) children are updated with GK and exposed to a wide variety of information, learning Newspapers stories are given for reflective thinking and critical analysis.
The school has adopted the methods of formative teaching along with the CCE (Continuous Comprehensive Evaluation) in better and spirit.
A ‘TEACHERS CENTRE’ established in the school takes care of regular training of teachers, besides organizing subject-wise periodic workshops and seminars.
A library with books over 10000, latest books for X & XII under CCE and large number of periodicals & newspapers further strengthen the Academics. A CD library has also been added. Internet connection is made available for children in Library.
SMART CLASS in collaboration with Educomp. have proved very useful for clarifying difficult concepts. This programme has strengthened the Academics of the school.
